Divorce is NOT something to handle alone. Rely on a compassionate divorce professional to help you move forward with renewed hope and meaning.
During a divorce, your work performance can suffer, your emotional and physical health can deteriorate, and your social life will change. There are also serious decisions that must be made about the marital home. Although this period is undoubtedly challenging, you can overcome the obstacles you face with the right people in your corner.
I have been working with divorcing parties since 2007; and, will help you navigate the potential legal, physical, financial, social, emotional, spiritual, and real estate pitfalls associated with divorce while empowering you to make the best decisions for your specific situation.
Although the marital home is almost always the most expensive asset a couple owns, it generally accounts for at least 60% of the family’s net worth, there is virtually no state-specific mandated guidance for divorcing couples regarding divorce real estate.
BUYING OR SELLING
Buying or selling real estate, in and of itself, can be stressful. Add the element of divorce, and one of the most contentious issues stemming from the divorce becomes "What to do with the family home?" While divorcing, if you decide to sell the marital residence, you find that besides the real estate process, there are five to six additional processes going on simultaneously: legal, physical, financial, social, emotional, and for some spiritual.
STAYING OR LEAVING
Whether staying, leaving or selling the family residence, it can be an emotional and gut-wrenching experience, even more so when children are involved. I understand that this is where you and your soon-to-be-ex (STBX) made a lifetime of plans and memories, so it's understandably a difficult experience. Speaking with a trusted professional and developing a deeper understanding of how divorce affects your personal situation is the first step.
"My goal, first and foremost, is to lay out a plan and navigate through the options with you so that you and your STBX can make the most informed decisions given the unique legal, financial and emotional aspects of your situation. You need to know that you have choices with what is commonly the greatest family asset."
WORKING WITH BOTH PARTIES
"Previous clients have stated that I am gifted at working with both parties impartially to complete the ultimate goal of selling the marital home with the least complications; and, as with any real estate transaction, getting the maximum return for the selling parties. I am able to provide information and resources that others may not be aware of. I have been told by my clients that I am "the calm in the divorce storm," as well as the 'project manager/quarterback' of their divorce real estate process."
